I just picked up a 21g2 rigger ready to run. It has a Rossi C21 in it. Does anyone have the specs for this motor? I am wondering about the timing and what the rom range and the hp is. also the year it was made and how it would compare to a OPS 3.5 side exhaust that I have ran in the past. Thanks.

The Novarossi C21 is earlier version of the Novarossi short stroke....This is a good motor and has more performance than the OPS side exhaust.
I don't remember the NR advertised specs but that info doesn't mean much...It is basically marketing driven to sell motors....
The numbers on that motor as I recall are pretty benign and middle of the road and easy to deal with while running the boat....
Put on a good pipe I.E. OPS 3280 set at 8-1/4" , get a good needle with a H-5 prop and go play....
All this info is predicated on the motor being in good shape....good P&S , bearings etc etc etc..

I actually have another one that might need a piston and sleeve. I haven't looked at for a long time. what would it cost?
