Mine is back from a crazy week of painting and sanding. Once I get it back together, I will have to take it on a test drive.
 
Sport 40 PTH Stealth 45 ready for primer as soon as new compressor arrives tomorrow even had time to assemble the boat stand Just need the Wx to cooperate and warm up a little to $$$ to heat the shop. yes I'm CHEEP o_O

Really impressed with Phil's workmanship only had a small pin holes to repair

Mikes boat looks nice get it done, we will race.
Tom you will find some more pinholes when you get the first coat of primer on.
You can use a vinyl glove on your finger to squeegee primer into a pinhole, bit messy looking but the epoxy primer sands easy, if you happy just one more light coat and you will be ready to paint.
 
Finally after 2 months of dealing with a blown up compressor, lost paint shipment, and crappy weather. I was able to spray the 1st primer coat on Sport 40 PTH Stealth 45 in primer been a busy couple of days in the shop

took 2nd in Sport 40 at the Mini Gold Cup. first time in history I've had a good outing with a brand new boat in its first race.

this is from testing a few weeks ago. This boat runs like a dream.

While the clear coat is curing on the Sport 40 ( not one to sit and watch paint DRY.) + I get bored easily ) A little custom turn fin fab work

when setting up your hardware, follow Phil's instructions to the letter and it will run nearly perfect out of the box. most of your tweaking will be down to just prop and minor strut adjustment.

edit: looks like the Bud turbine cowl is a popular option.

Ya Cause NAMBA rule 20-B-5 requires tuned pipes be totally enclosed in the Sport hydro class's :rolleyes:
