Boat is the gxs 315 v2

I will check the Cg but I can tell you I place my motor 16 3/4” from outside of transom to center of glowplug. Radiobox up front, 4 oz tanks on both sides centered with motor.

I don't know about the ML boats per se', but many set the CG between the rear of the sponsons and the middle of the turn fin as a starting point and adjust from there.  Seems to me that if the CG is roughly at the rear of the sponson, the boat would be more stable than further aft and won't plow as easily as when the CG if forward of the sponson rear.

Thanks for information

But mine is different from your boat
I don’t think there that far off from each other. ML would know better between the GP and GXS  but after trying to keep up with him all last year with my wife’s boat. I would maybe find the difference in length and adjust from what he told you. Maybe more forward.

The center section is different  but I will be looking at the measurements that he gave me and see what can be done on my boat

Thanks for the help

On my ML sport 20 31'' hull if you measure from the outside of transom to the outside of front sponson transom side is 18" this should be exactly like yours.  After speaking with Mike L said my hull and your hull should have the exact CG.  I have the boat disassembled at the moment and will put back together this week to give exact location, although I can give you all the measurements.  Radio box I have built is mounted 1/2" from the inside lip of nose and is 3.5" long and the width of the tunnel.  With yours being opened up more in the front your radiobox will be easier to make.

Thanks for the info and pictures

I will have to order a different motor mount. the speedmaster mount will not let me get the motor where it needs to be

Also were did you get the fuel tanks from

Thanks aurbin

On those tanks I had Ryan Lipgon make them, two 4 oz tanks.  I highly suggest a hopper tank up in the front right(turnfin side).

Hey Bradley I just noticed in your Picture If thats where you run your prop.I'll be grad to race against you. (HAHA)

My sport 20 coming along. Made the turn fin bracket last night.

Bradley your the best. That's thinking out of the box.  Think I'll try mine on the back of the boat first.
