This has piqued my curiosity now. I’ll take pics of my build sitting flat on my build table tomorrow and post them.

This is with the sponsons and ski setting on the glass bench. I checked up and down the tub. A consistent 0.2° of positive on the tub.

More progress today...

I got the shaft tube epoxied in. To center it in the collet, I ended up putting a 3/16” drill bit in the collet, put heat shrink on the exposed drill bit, sanded it a little in the drill to fit the ID of the shaft tube nice and snug. Worked out well I thought. Added a piece of UNI-CF at the joint in the tub floor for good measure.

Your JAE build looks great Christopher. Real good photos of your work. Don't rush it. I like your motor choice also. Richard

Question for you guys...

Can this last compartment be a “wet bay” with small drain holes in the back corners? I’m trying to avoid having to use a radio box seal at the transom to free up the steering linkage. IMG_0007.jpg

Neutral...

And full right rudder. The pushrod just touches the side of the hole. But obviously with the boot seal in there, it binds. I’m not a big fan of the music wire pushrod / Z-bend method.

Your servo is not in the right place you can see the misalignment in the second picture it looks like you need to be in the second hole and the servo needs to move to the left a little
