I use wire drives from Jeff's site, if ran on the bench too long you can heat up

the Loctite used to mate the wire to the bored out stub shaft. Had to reglue

one with Loctite 638 as the engine was peaking 50k ish. while setting the NV.

Now I quickly get the lil screamer in the water as soon as possible after setting

the NV.

I have never had good luck with the glued ones on my .12 boats...they would always break loose as soon as I got on the gas! I think the power pulse of the bigger IC engines breaks the glue pretty quick.

Yes big leap in torque with a .12. For me using the Picco .05 / .8cc engine just

barely able to get away with it using 1/8" stub shaft. Next would have been steel

tube with the grub screw through the dog drive to cable trick. Use to do that for

brushless motors back in the day.
