That will work..........the box will flex a lot if you don't put a piece of 1/4" ply in the bottom. On my 39" it was all over the place till I did this and solid mounted the box. After that it drove threw the corner like it was on rails. Beat my head on a wall till I figured it out.

Box is always bolted to the rails. Servo mounted in carbon fiber bolted to bottom of the box

Doc when mark and I Ran our calcrafts we ran two turn fins on ours it helped with the sliding in the corners

Radio box done except throttle push rod.
Very tight radio box especially with large rudder servo.
