Need some advice, after installing my novarossi.91 in a roadrunner outrigger I found that the cowl sits about 1/2 inch above the mouth of the carburetor. I spoke to Mark Bullard and he said I would need to build a new cowl. Okay, I have never done anything close to this.

So I am asking for help in building one so I can this boat out on the water.

Any suggestions or comments will be greatly appreciated.

Cut a hole where the carb is and install a small scoop mounted backwards to keep water out
 
Here is a phto of the plug for my mold . This is a plug not a part but you can see the shape .Of course the part is one smooth piece . John Knight has the cowl on his RR 90 i will see if he can post a pic
