the bottom of my ul1 is severely distorted.... :( .....mostly from the stuffing tube back....its absolutely awful... ... is this a common thing with this hull???? i mean its bad.....

so its a typical china thing...i was debating on calling tower to complain,,, the amount we pay for these things you would think more care would be taken in the hulls,,but the reality of it is the 6 yr old china kid is just supposed to get them built fast...lol.. obviously sombody is approving these things.., wish they would hunker down and do thier job.....

My ts3 looked like a orange. ..... one sponson was collapsed and a piece of the wood frame in the hull rattling around. ........

Normal stuff for the rtr boats, some good some not so good, called overseas mass production, but the price (compared to other boats) reflects the quality

i had a couple of the TS2's that had stuff rattling around loose inside, also. typical "bid contract" quality.

When you only pay $330.00 for a complete boat with radio included there isnt much room left for quality. You get what you pay for, i guess. Richard D

Just because you pay less doesn't mean you should have to settle for a warped hull. You need to call Tower out on it. This aquacrap stuff is just that. & I have been dumb enough to keep buying RTR's from them only to be disappointed 90% of the time. The last 2 Gunslingers I got, the hulls were all gouged up. & Tower wouldn't do anything for me. I wont buy another aquacrap rtr, Or shop at Tower any longer. Been screwed over 2 many times. But we wont go into all that. The few rtr boats im happy with are.. The Genesis Cat, The Traxxas mono, & the Gas Joyway Cat. & $300 is a lot of money for some people. How sad would it be if some young kid saved up his paper route money for a year & then was sold one of these RTR warped boats. There are good RTR boats out there. But bring your straightedge when you go to buy one lol.

Good to know there are others that no longer wanted to feel like a bent over sheep and turned their back on Tower and AC. Thought for awhile it was only me.

I have said nothing..

Now that I have a "clean" work position in the RC boat world maybe I will have to step back in as a mod for I waters.

Maybe jump back into IMPBA politics too... time will tell.

I just have one question: WHY GET BACK INTO THE POLITICS?

I was involved in the politics as a member of a club in another hobby and found that it only makes you a target, especially if you have a position that has authority. In my case, I was verbally attacked and fired from my position, in front of the rest of the membership, by a power hungry first term president so that he had no real rivals. It got so bad that the wife and I were forced to leave the club due to actual threats against us. While we are still involved with the activity and joined another club, we will NEVER EVER get involved with the politics again

I have been through it all BUT its simple... if one does not.. then who does? Do we allow chaos to creep in.. This never does anybody any good.

Not saying I will.. and the IMPBA is doing fine.. I-waters however needs a boost in the arm. Allowing trolls to navigate and make comments without a proper name or sig.. not how our rules are setup here.

I get it however.. everybody is busy and life gets in the way (oho how I know this).. when the time comes.. we will see.

The way I see it, Mike, a majority of the officers at NAMBA and IMPBA want to be there so I'm not going to argue or fight to take an office. As far as here in the forum, I bet "the boss" would love any help he can get from those he feels he can trust
