K&B 3.5 SS

Should a k&b 3.5 ss be spitting fuel out of the carb while running. If not what could cause this ?

this is an older motor but has very little run time on it a few tanks of fuel.I read 5-6 turns out on the needle is this for normal running ? It seems a little rich to me.

As the motor heats up it will lean out. You want it a little rich on bank and after 2 laps should be lean enough to go at a fast pace

I have seen them spit fuel out the carb if the start backwards, just a thought!!

I think it was spitting fuel out of carb due to it was running backwards.
