I made it to the trials but just by the hair of my chin.. 7th is not a place your going to win a US-1 from.. but in the spirt of " NEVER SAY DIE " i gave it my best shot..

Beating Erine in oval was, and will likely never be an easy task.. I got him this time and i best tresure it..

I got the 29.052 on my first set.. After the first set i heard the engine pucker for just a tad past the apex of the corner.. I knew i had to run tight but i ran just a tad to tight and hit bouy 2 on the start of the second lap.. Erine had me on his stop watch and said i was 2 seconds faster on the set to that point.. O well we got it on the first set.

As for saw.. im not much of a saw kind of guy and i do not have a saw setup.. Best i could do is let her run through the traps in heat racing setup.

It was LOTS of fun.

hey thats great grimm,not to get side tracked from this thread,

but i wanted to get back with you and ask how did you enjoy watching

the real unlimiteds run? we talked about it in toledo and it sounded like you were real stoked

to see them,i know i cant wait to go and see the gold cup race,as i do every year!

i never get tired of watching the real unlimiteds run,its just a thing of

beauty,hope you had a great time!

THE UNLIMITEDS ARE SOOOOOO COOL.. My daughter wants me to try to get on a team to help pit the boats.. My daughter was so stoked... She thought it was one of the coolest things she has ever seen.. ME TOO..

I had no idea the pure speed and power of the boats.. I mean i had an idea but you JUST HAVE TO SEE IT..

Thanks for asking norm.. now i have to free up some weekends to make more races.
