Yes they actually started a firearm registration of guns under the so traceable if stolen so a lot never thought much of it. Then the port aurthur event in Tassie made it easy to find the semi automatic weapons ie shot gun and rifles from good honey people, never trust any of the lying pricks...

Woods gauge is the better of them imho, a quality piece of equipment.

Build something to fit the existing rules and no arguments,but guarantee you would get challenged over ,work with the lobster boat layout.

Plans are 38” ,if it’s anything like the gas version I’d be adding to the length, longer boat saves torque effect on transom.
