I am running a full mod 26 speed is around hi 60s to .low 70 .They are a great boat just take your time .the front sponsons are a bit tricky on the first build once you figure it out it is eazy the second time Good luck on your build .
it is sealed with west system epoxy and primer helps the paint stick and the color to pop .New boat will not have paint just good clear coat .If you race them hard they get beat up .
I ran 100 ll to day got a 65 mph out the corner on my backlash with a 26 cc full mod motor then switched to coleman and got 66 out of the same corner .So it don't seam to make much of a diff in speed.
I putt some 100 ll in mine and it seams to start better and sounds crisper on the bench .Will see how she runs on the water.I was using colemen but gizmos said to run the 100 in there engine so I am going to see .
Ya I would like to try one of his.I have an extra buck bag .I guess nothing is perfect.I herd of people who love the Iv bags and hate them and I think that gose with any thing tho,
I have had very good luck with mine .The bag I got from zip got hard after a week with colmen fuel in it and leaked .then the second one the tube came out.I will never run Baxter I v bags .
So far the best bags I have found are the Dr buck bags from insane .Mine are still nice and soft after 2 months and a guy in our club is running them on his second season and its still nice and soft.
