    Monos built strickly for SAW?

Thank you :) Ran really well. As the following two and a half days were windy as hell i am already motivated for next year, lol

    Monos built strickly for SAW?

Hi Tyler, thank you, also for the offer. I still have the three available. As lot of other stuff on the boat did not work well the last 2 years i was not able to integrate them properly.

    Monos built strickly for SAW?

Hello Bob, it was pretty standard: short strut setup, Speedmaster 40 rudder The hull was a sort of delta force but without ridepad. Was a pure deep vee with sharp keel. Hopefully this year i can top the record or at least getting next to it with a S-class setup on the Munich Saw. Regards Ralf

    Monos built strickly for SAW?

Hey, sorry for the late reply, busy with moving to a new house. Yeah Toni, legg lake was a crazy cool time. 42inch :D Carl, sure, i will send you an email. Btw, this very long tab did not work well :> Regards Ralf

    Monos built strickly for SAW?

Heo, John, we talked about tabs last year. I have some issues with my hull and working on different options. Simply driven by the intrinsic issue of a mono regarding its lift and some cog issues and on the other hand not willed to redo the whole cnc machined negative form. The other options...

Thx John. Christian, this is pretty obvious, i think it was already claimed as illegal in this thread

    Monos built strickly for SAW?

Thanks for the clarification. hehe, your point about the length would be the next question: i agree that it is possible to extend a trim tab extremly (same as with drives). Even with the CoG is moved way forward someone can put the tab high and make it really long. This will make the length...

    Monos built strickly for SAW?

John, i understand your point. But this is already judging the performance of the implementation of the tab. It does not answer if the sketched implementations are legal. When i speak about reducing the angle of attack it is relative. Coming from high angles. Reducing the angle is not...

    Monos built strickly for SAW?

Yes, i did this stye of tuning on all my monos. Also had to do it on my new. But...I am not sure what route i will go in the end. Tests have shown that the keel is in first place not critical (testet standard Vee, small Pad, slightly bigger pad). I am also tired about use blueprint and a file...

    Monos built strickly for SAW?

Hi John, no, the old boat from 2014 had none. The current one i do also running without, but thinking about adding some. This is why the question came up. Reading the first pages i got uncertain because of the discussion of overhangs.

    Monohull Rules Questions

Hello John, as mentioned i took a brake I did even 108mph, and i recognized that i am near the physical limit with the boat. The monos have to (instead of catamarans) go through different transistions of balancing water and air during accelerations to this high speeds. If you are at peak...

    Monos built strickly for SAW?

Hello, thanks for the clarification. As is do this sport living in germany i do not have a district director. But the impba and namba rules do describe the mono better than the rules in germany (allowing steps, which makes monos in our small RC-dimensions defenitely a hydro as it can be...

    Monos built strickly for SAW?

Hello, back after a break with monos the question with the strakes fits my question i had last year. In the picture the strake is parallel to the keel from bottom view, but the "running surface" of the strake itself is angled downwards relative to waterlevel. in detail this strake is forming...

    Monohull Rules Questions

Thx for the reply. Ok, strakes theoretical running surface have to be horizontal or angled outwards. Is this also relevant for the strake shape in between bow and mid point? The fairing would be enough if the strakes edge is angled like 95 or 100 degree to keel. As you desribed the strake...
