    Thriftway Too U-62

I figured it would be great as I can position it a little farther forward from the transom and as the Thriftway Too is going to be an FE boat, I can build a small watertight box around it to keep the hull interior dry, as I plan on making the motor, ECU & battery compartment totally water tight.

    Thriftway Too U-62

I think the best strut to go with is going to be the extended strut with a flat bottom on it, like I did on my (7207 hull) '80 Bud U-12 I built from a Troy McIntyre hull, as the Thriftway Too is a 3-point type of hull. Thanks, Sam & Don

    Boat Clubs in louisiana

    Thriftway Too U-62

Thanks, I'll take the measurements and see if it could be modified to work and look the part, would have to modify the fin for sure, but as the picture shows, it looks to be a little on the low side overall.

    Thriftway Too U-62

Yes been looking for one for several years, looks like I might have to bite the bullet and make a mold myself. Have discovered better pictures of the Thriftway Too and have a better idea of what the total cowl is shaped like. Of all the pictures I have found online of the 1/8th scale model I...

FE "P" Sport 20 motor options

Looks like all of the boat clubs in the Louisiana & East Texas areas are disappearing, so this boat will more than likely be a sport boat to run off my pier at the lake early mornings before the full size boats arrive on the scene. Just looking for a place to start ad far as motor or ESC is...
