D D Derret Mar 24, 2014 Nice build & photo of the boat running- I built one of these kits also over the past 20(?) years as time allowed- It has been a 'work in progress' most of that time- I remade all the metal hardware in brass for better quality & finish- Not true to scale I know, but nice in appearance- It planes very much like the real boat did- gear drive motor/ prop used to tune the actual speed of the boat to scale speed- V recent rework of the windshield, better scale steering wheel, & floor mat in the front cockpit adds a lot to the appearance of the boat- nice project & kit that gave me lots of nice hobby time hours- Thanks- Dave Richardson
