What side of the boat are you putting your exhaust on for wrap around header style motors? Left or Right. 
 
Since we make right turns put the header / pipe on the left side. The oil spray clears the hull more often 

such as in turns the centrifugal force will sling it away. 
 
Every wrap around motor I ran it was on the right side for the simple fact I didn’t want to burn my hand or have it in the way while starting. Works just fine either side

I switched from the right to the left.. This was to offset the weight of the turn fin

With other threads spending a lot of time talking about how to keep the tuned pipe hot, you may want to consider that the pipe will get cooled from turn fin water on the right side.
