David,

Do you know if the newer EVO style engine parts will fit in this older engine?

I don't know I sold and shipped the EVO end so I can't try. Maybe somebody on the forum will know. the front bearing feels a little ruff piston and sleeve still has pinch TDC carburetor bore is .465 hope this helps.

Hi Rennie,  Can you send along the bore and OD of the sleeve in the remaining engine?  A picture of the sleeve out of the case will help too.  I'm looking to see if the sleeve would be compatible with an engine I have here that will need a sleeve.

Thanks,

Chris

The eng. was modified by Andy Brown years ago. I started it at home for break in. It's been sitting in my eagle SG for 13 plus years. the bore is .857. I do not have any propane to heat the case to remove the sleeve . I don't want to damage it. Here are a few more pictures. Of the three CMB 45 engines this one is probably the fastest one.

Thanks for the pictures Rennie,  It doesn't look like it's going to be compatible with my other CMB engines so I'm going to need to pass.

Thank you,

Chris
