Guy's

is a .21 outboard canard considered as a A O/B Hydro ?

Thank you for info's

Alex

YES, as long as the outboard motor does all the steering. Can not be fixed and add a rudder. That is not allowed in NAMBA. I believe it is in IMPBA thou.

Thank you Dave and Mike !
So technically you could run an A O/B rigger or canard in A O/B hydro and A hydro class .

Yes. It will work for both. Thou, it will be a little outclassed in A hydro. A OB Hydro has not run any where that I know of in quite a few years. Last time I saw it offered at nats was 2009. It was a fun class. I just went thru mine a few months ago and gave her a new paint job. Even ran it. Had servo centering issues so did not get much running time with it. I have won 4 nats with it.

There are so many A OPC and A Mod tunnel guys...... can’t believe that the O/B hydro class is dead.
I was also thinking to give my 2 O/B hydro’s new paint and motors.
