first off i got mac 67 good storng motor its got new crank i put in it two year ago with i beaing asking 200 two mac 84 good storng motor it got th 5050 carb on it asking 300

If you look at the outer edge of the piston those little pits & dings are bearing material when the roller ball was breaking down and going bad

What does the head button look like

Probably more like plug element then bearing.

You need to check the bearings in that motor if the bearings are bad it will run lean and over heat
