Several times now the pipe clamps on my air reel hose have slipped and the quick change has been shot out. Then the compressor runs continuous while I am at work. Looking for a crimp style or something better. The original from harbor freight had a crimp that failed.

I know its cheap, it was a gift. It will hold as long as the clamps dont slip a notch. I will give the double pinchs a try.

Mike, Rick answered it in #2. Take a piece of hose to your local hose supply store and match the hose to the correct tail and get an Oeticker(spelling) Twin ear clamp.

mike, i went to my local hose place that makes hyd hoses and they put a new crimp fitting on my old hose and it's like brand new.

use the barbs that don't use clamps. i use them ,just push the hose on,done

google push lock hose barbs
