Nice Dan .I ve been using these struts on my FE riggers so check if the front bushing is not blocking the grease fitting...happened in my case many times.BTW nice project.Gill

Very interesting idea. Curious to see how it will behave on teh water and what speed you get out of it..
 
I know some customers in Florida that do this on their V and big cats for two singles inline like that . They say it works pretty good and is a clean setup.

Rudder location is perfect keep the blade ahead of the props. Just thinking.
