That looks alot like Harry Garhart's boat if I remember right... Indy maybe???? If It is Harry's, I think he put it back together and raced it again...

Yes! it was Harrys Boat and he did repair it and race it! good memory that was a few years ago!
 
He hit the cement wall head on, it was in Mi. the next heat he just thru the black plastic bag,that his boat was in to start the next heat he was entered in.

My dad hit the same wall with his 67 shooter there wasn't anything left to throw in the bag other than the prop

You are right, I could not believe how fast that boat was.

It was right their with some REALLY FAST BOATS that

I have seen in 28 years of boating so far. Did you and

your Dad ever figure out what happened to that boat?

The seawall was corrugated steel, and Harry wasn't the only one to destroy a boat at that race.
