Exhaust Temperature and Mixture Control

Is there a relationship with proper mixture control, exhaust gas temperature, and power?

Is it true that ASSUMING glowplug, rod, and bearing survival; the higher the exhaust gas temperature (EGT), the higher the power?

Are there previous discussions or articles that I can read?

yes,,marty davis started a thread some time back about egt and such... egt is always an important factor for sure,, if i remember correct marty was monitoring egt at the large part of the pipe...

not sure if you will find it but its worth the search..
