1/8 scale and 1/10 scale lenths

Hello all. I'm new and confused. <_< Can some one give me the lenth of an 1/8 scale and a 1/10 scale shovel nose hyrdo. I'm not sure that my Dumas 36" is a 1/10 scale. Help

Kinda depends on the length of the full size hull...there are tolerances in 1/8th scale hydro on length and width...this is just ballpark but a 28' to 30' long unlimited hydro i believe is somewhere between 41" to 43".....A master hull roster would give exact minum and maximum legal dimensions.......your Dumas 36" is a legal sport 40 class hull, but im not sure if it would be considered 1/10th scale or not...i would think it would be awfully close though....im sure that someone will chime in to do the math.....im just too lazy! If you want to use a 30 foot hull for 1/8th scale it will be 45" 1/10 scale it would be 36"

1/8 is 8 parts of a foot =1.5" 1/10 is 10 parts of a foot = 1.2" X30 foot = inches long

If you want to use a 30 foot hull for 1/8th scale it will be 45" 1/10 scale it would be 36"
