Hi Tom: Did I notice there are brass pressure fittings on the rear-plate (below carb) of the latest Alpha EVO-2 (image from a web-site below) ? Are you guys using pipe or crankcase pressure? Also are folks using remote needle valves? Thanks

Prestwich Model Boats, Tornado T7 Mono

Thanks. Yeah, I thought I remember these hull-types were not NAMBA legal. Actually they are exclusively used for offshore endurance class in Europe

Prestwich Model Boats, Tornado T7 Mono

Hello Have been looking into the Tornado T7 47" mono, produced by Prestwich Model Boats in the UK.: http://www.prestwich.ndirect.co.uk/fsrvTORNADOT7.htm I'm curious if these type of stepped hull design are NAMBA legal? This style of mono hull is very popular in Europe. Phil Fields races a Tornado 47 (which is his boat pictured). The build quality of these hulls are very good- vacuumed epoxy-glass.

yes, I would especially like to have a copy of the Coyote .80 set-up sheet. Also a copy of build instructions. Appreciate it very much.

Thanks for all your info Stu. What is the advantage of the steel tuned pipe over the aluminum, if there is any?

yes, that is a Rossi R80 drum-valve, actually modded by Andy Brown back in like 1988, never run yet. Also Carl Brey (CeeBee Marine) Jet Ring Venturi w/exhaust throttle. I may switch to a regular RC carb later (but will experiment with exhaust throttle/venturi first). And yes, those Rossi R90's really run, worth setting-up. I have the original cowl supplied in the kit (it is large and heavy polyester resin layup). I have my own design's to implement on this hull, I will complete in near future. Oh, yes, here is also the set-up sheet for the Coyote 65 hull (it may be closer in size to your hull). Hope it helps (and that you can see dimensions)
