    Engine Bearings

Got them all. I will order some extra as well or put in another order in the near future for those that did not get any. I wanted to get a good idea of what people needed and this was a great help. Thanks

    My toy came today

At one time a lot of military surplus machinery was held in Dixion, Illinois at a huge storage facility and educational institutions had access and could purchase it for really reasonable prices. I made one trip there when I was a student assistant at Western Michigan University, we equipped two large machine shops in the (at that time) new Technology building. It took a week to look at all of it. Thanks John

    CMDi & OPS engines

Put a few more tanks of 60% through the OPS 45 this weekend. Worked upward on prop size. Finished up with the biggest prop I took to the lake. A 1957. The OPS pulled it off the beach easily. Throttled up and down at will. Quickly and consistently accelerated to 77 mph. This is in a 7 pound 67 SGX-2.5. Used the same plug that I ran last weekend. Head and piston crown look like they have not been run. After run tear down found all parts looking very good. Except for the noted adjustments in last week's report, the engine is 100% stock. The big horse power potential of this OPS 45 looks very promising. Good boating Andy

Guys on the machinist forum I visit (https://www.practicalmachinist.com/vb/) rate them very high. Apparently they were used on the ships/subs by the US Navy? Where'd ya find that beauty Mikey? What DRO unit is it?

I have heard that Thunder Tiger was completely out of the nitro engine business. I haven't looked into it to see if it was true or not but even when they were selling the outboard version I can't remember seeing but a hand full of them. I guess the beauty of their geared lower unit was that they could use their standard car/plane rotation engine.

Chris, There is no lack of new tunnels. I have at least 10 each Lynx, Taboo, and Leecraft tunnels in stock at all times. There are also plenty of wooden kits from Vans Racing, Dragon, and Sniper tunnels available. More tunnels readily available today than there have been in many years, no shortage LOL.
