Thank you all! I think what I need to do, mainly for the sanding side of things is invest in a good vacuum setup. then have a hose to move between sanders and band saws...but I will also look into a small inlet to be able to easily setup for the manual/hand sanding tasks...this is a huge thing that I need to refine in my next setup...every gets a layer of dust TOO EASY these days haha.

I love the bend setups...I see you have a dual height desk Randy, I also currently have the same and it comes in handy that's for sure!

I have a 36x66 shop building adjacent to the house that is a work in progress. Mainly metal working equipment: TIG, MIG, Plasma, 20T press, bending brake, chop and band saws, blast cabinet, mill, lathe, etc. Also have a few wood working tools, a composite layup area, parts washer, vacuum table, plumbed for air. 2 post car lift is planned. 21x36 to be walled off with HVAC. Boat shop is in that area.

damm Doug, that will make every VERY jealous!!

I love all the dust extraction setup also

nice setup! I came close to purchasing a new Grizzly Mill/Drill unit, but got a JET 12" drill press (kind of wish I got that mill/drill, as we serious model boat builders really have a need for a mill). What is model No. of your Grizzly machine?
I would just get the mill with DRO
I wish I had bought one years ago.

Due to a fire about 10 years ago I had an opportunity to build my dream shop. It's a little excessive and I feel very spoiled, but that's were I spend all my time.

I’m stealing these pic and when anyone ask me what my shop looks like I’m going to show them these pics! Man I love your shop, fricking awesome!

I’m going throw rocks at my set up now!

Happy for you, Doug, that such a disastrously event like a fire, yielded such an opportunity for rebuild !

Thanks guys. The loss was mainly 2 years of time and really good Delta tools. Couldn't replace the tools. JET is so - so.

Ronnie, I see you also like the two stroke bikes. I grew up with Kawi triples and had a lot of them. Also a few RD 400's. But my two favorite two strokes were the RZ-350 I had in the bumble bee paint job and my grey market RZ-500. My 500 had all the goodies done to it as you can see. It was a rocket! And it handled better than most the others. It had GSXR-750 front end and the gixer 17" wheels. Full floater big disc brakes and a Fox rear shock. All the bad things of a stock 500 were corrected on this bike.
