Hi guys. I need to purchase an outboard lower for P-limited tunnel boat. I currently have a TFL outboard that is hard to find parts for and is worn out. Let me know where I can find a good lower unit. I want something dependable and I can still get service parts for. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

O.S. Lowers are available from Novarossi Marine USA, been the most used lower end for years. Which TFL do you have? One is almost a direct copy of an O.S.
Lawless 3.5’s can be purchased from Fred on here, believe his username is Lawlessman? There’s also a few threads on here with modifications to get the motor lower that keeps COG down low. This is what we run on our modified B tunnel boats. Get the one that runs the O.S. Prop shaft assembly

The one I have was a prototype for the electric Caldwell TFL tunnel. I can not find a replacement Prop shaft bushing that threads into the aluminum housing. The TFL I have dose look like the OS unit shown on Novarossi web site

The prop shaft assembly looks like a copy of the O.S. piece. It might be worth a shot to see if it fits…

Or, I think this is the piece you’re looking for?

I just bought one of those and was all excited. The threaded area is smaller OD than my brass one which is 5.7mm OD.

Brandon, thanks for the mention, my e-mail is [email protected]
I wanted "lawlessman", but somebody already had it. LOL
Drives for sale and in stock. I have been a little slow answering e-mails and sending orders due to my wife's health problems and multiple trips to the hospital. Sorry to anyone who has had to wait or is waiting. I'm doing all I can to catch up.

Hi Fred, I did just send you an email regarding your lower legs. I would like to get one ordered . Thanks

Bob...i love my lawless 3.5 lower...but when I order a second...it will be for the O.S. prop hub...i have issues with ABC props not fitting on the k&b prop hubs without major prop work. The ABC prob hub is way long and and no threads for a prop nut....just a fyi...

O.S and Hyperformance (K&B) style prop shafts are the same length. You will still have issues with the later designed ABC prop hubs. I have to machine almost all of mine down for multiple boat setups.

I love my Lawless Lower have had great success. Here are some titles with the lawless 3.5 and 7.5 Lowers.

Fred...thank you for the Awesome craftsmanship that goes into your products....and the care and customer service is outstanding....im a very satisfied customer and looking forward to another 3.5 lower in the near future.
And Ric Wally....thank you the heads up on prop hub length...

I appreciate the compliments, but I think some folks might be getting a little impatient with me. To anyone who has placed an order and not received their drive. I must ask your indulgence. My wife has been very ill over the last 3 months and I have lost a lot of time in the shop to finish and send out orders. She is waiting to have a medical procedure in early August that should relieve a lot of her problems. Meanwhile, it is back and forth to doctors and specialists every few days, including later today. One of my CNC machines decided to go on vacation early this month and I have been spending what little spare time I have trying to fix it. On top of that, I just got a jury summons. Things have been rather complicated this summer. Apologies to all and I am trying my best to get things caught up. Thanks.

It's worth the wait
