Derek,
Many versions, P45's were from the early 80's maybe until 92-94 era, there was a long and short style sleeve. (first 2 pics)
Mid to late 90's the Picco exr versions came out, for the 45, 2 ring silver head, deep as in size was the bluehead, then a thin bluehead all hade the same piston/sleeve, a black head in 2000 was almost a complete different motor, still called an exr.
2009 or abouts, dark blue head, black head, even a red head in some other countries (Japan), this version was exr also , and almost every part interchanged with the 2000 45exr blackhead. The domed pistons I always machined flat.
I'll post some pics to add to the confusion.
The parts shown are for the 2000 45exr through 2012, Ill take any extras if you want to sell.

The sleeves for the blackheads upto the last models were the same. The assembly you have there Has a billet piston with slight dome on it and that was for the silver case blue head exr’s and the last black case blue head exr’s, The early lighter bluehead pictured is a different bore and layout.

thanks for the info appreciated ..

Just picked up an unused early p45 (1st gen i think), are these any good?, what % nitro is best? i will not be racing.

If you are lucky enuff to buy a New 2021 picco 45? Do Not run it with the brass flywheel cone. Everyone of the EXR 45 motors needed a longer stainless flywheel cone. The brass spins on crank allows for the engine to increase crank end play & causes rod alignment issues normally breaking the piston bottom out.

I will have one HP45 in a few days.
Any chance there could be more coming in the future?
Always interested in testing different things out, be great to have some more options. Got a couple .45 riggers in progress waiting for some horsepower

Can u still buy these piston and sleeves , I just picked up an older pico 65 and pico 90 or 91, I’m curious if parts are still available? It sounds like there still making the p45 in 2021 ah? That sounds promising
