Bob,

Do you have an onboard Oiler going directly to the strut?
Very nice build over this long winter we have had in the North Country.
Getting to your order this weekend.

Thanks For Sharing,

Ok, I said my piece and now I want to come to the party. Found a K&B and a new old stock Dumas Hot Shot. Looks like one more boat to build when I get home.

Don't have any K&B 21s any more, but I do have a couple of foamies I fly around the lake after we're done racing boats. One is the Tidewater that Grim did some hull design work for back when he was working for HOBBICO.

Mark, here is a picture. I just shoot castor oil up the stuff tube, before each run, from the strut end until it comes out at that engine. That is what the tube through the strut if for.GT Oil.JPG

Well, this is simple. Any club can simply add it to what they are doing. Not everything we do has to be IMPBA or NAMBA sanctioned, etc. If you have a local club then just do it as a club race idea.

Grim....
I have been a Dumas fan from day one.....my first was the original fiberglass hotshot....loved it...racing in the Tidewater Va. Put an end to that...
But this is going to be a test bed for me to see if I stick with boats this time...this is my 4th go around in the boating world...and like all other aspects of the R/C world....real estate seems to just push us off the scope...I may have to give a PTI boat a shot....its only money...

I think Big Bryon’s son Sawyer raced one of those Hotshot Sprint’s at a few TCMBC races, back a few seasons ago...and did quite well with it.

Heck I guess as long a person can at least finish....thats the biggest battle..
But from what have learned...these hotshots are not bad....just not "modern"
But atleast they look like actual F1 tunnel boats
