Go to cnc the prototype on tomorrow. Prototype material would be phenolics resin block, a brown coloured plastic block. Will post pictures then. The software was SolidWorks.

Hello all,

Doing polishing the plug now. Then offset moulding, polishing. All these are very time consuming. Might not able to read this thread and reply on time.

Best regards,

Leo

Forthcoming items would be joined by coloured resin to make the joint invisible.

Went to test with a heat race prop; lake was really blown out, but I used the opportunity to see what it'll do in the rough. With the 2S batteries right on the centerline allowed with rear motor mounting, the low cg/rollcenter made for great stability. Bring on the racewater ! (race debut next week at WWVIII)

Using one of Benjamins 140A speed controls sent for testing, hence the FCR graphics :)

As boaters suggested. Need a stronger boat bottom. Tested with one with the rear 55% of the bottom and transom made with double fiber layers, equivalent to 600g/m^2. Weight increased by 90g. Feel that the bottom is now very strong. The hull weight is now 850g.

Believe that can make the whole bottom and transom with double fiber layers and can maintain the same shipping cost. Estimated hull weight should be 880g.
