Mike Locke and I arrived home late last night after a great couple of days of solid racing.

A special thanks to the PMBC for the incredibly well run event they were busting their buts to make sure all racers involved were having a great time.

Some of the best heat racing I have seen in a long time awesome driving with very few incidents , just great racing. Some incredible battles for six laps , I think in two days they only had to change a couple bouys that is amazing with so many boats on the water at the same time and so many heats run.

It was great to meet up with old friends and to make new ones not sure why it has takin me so long to get back to the Nats but I am sure glad I went to this one.

Dick you haven't changed a bit in ten years  your cooper pipe worked awesome , thank you.

Thanks again to the PMBC for all of there hard work to make it fun for the racers and I hope the rest of the week goes just a smooth .

I left last night after heat racing was done. Here is what I am 99% sure of. I hung out with the Texas guys and had a ball. Ernie started 23 heats ( scratched the last heat in D tunnel and F hydro when he had first locked) and he had 19 blue ribbons, 1 red. Other 3 he died or dumped.

I'm a hydro junkie.

B Mono

5 - LaFleur (//111)

B tunnel

1 Williamson

2 LaFleur (111/1)

3 Zabrowski (in a runoff with 4)

4 Loy?

D Tunnel

1 LaFleur (1111s)

E Mono

1 LaFleur (11211)

F Hydro

1 - LaFleur (1111s) (Twin Eagle)

2 - Stu Barr (Single Crapshooter)

3 - Barthel (??)

4 - Buddy Stone (Single Jaguar ?)

5 - George Harris (Twin Jaguar )

D Hydro

1 - Tim Kish (Crapshooter)

2 - Stu Barr (Crapshooter)

Thanks for the results so far and am looking to see more as the races go on.

Now you can see why Ernie has to bring a big trailer with him every year, he needs it to haul home the trophies! You have to give him a lot of credit as it isn't easy to get the wins that he does but he and his posse are there to have a ton of fun and will jump right in when somebody needs help.

just returned after 3 days at the internats. some really great competion going on, really fast boats and close races.

the performance club has really got it together, heats are moving at a fast pace, recovery boats are doing a great job, the site and pits are above standards. what more can you say? HATS OFF TO THEM! they have it all covered. it is very evident that MANY hours were spent on this.

i think they should do it again next year!!

Thanks Tony,

Its really great to see how people did on the score cards.

Thanks again,

Paul

Sounds like everyone is having a good time. Too bad for those that threw in the towel because of their feelings on the noise rule. It doesn't appear that the fears regarding the application of the noise rule were realized. Great job PMBC, I wish I could be there.
