The weather has been perfect with almost 8 hours of good water. Forecast shows that it should remain the same for the next few days.

Day 3 Results:

...To be Continued. Word is Joerg went so fast that he flew his boat into an R/C Airplane competition. The result?...a lot of time spent looking for Joerg's boat at the bottom of the lake. The result?... :( No boat found yet as it likely was suspended under water and not yet at the bottom. The result?...No results! The crew worked to find the boat while others were packing up. Today's results were locked in the trailer. Mark and Chris Grim promised to call me first thing when the trailer is opened with the results and I will publish at that time. About 6 records were set today with an O Sport Hydro one way pass of 98!

In all seriousness, I'm sure we all hope Joerg's boat can be found. Results to be posted tomorrow.

Allan,

Pretty sure Mark,Chris & Don are all running CMB engines. Steve & Mark those are AWESOME

SPEEDS from a 21 motor. Congratulations on all your hard work and preparations to run that

fast with any boat. Effort Equals Results that is for sure. :D

Thanks For Posting Chris,

Mark Sholund

Allan,

Pretty sure Mark,Chris & Don are all running CMB engines....
CMB on the outside! I bet those have been massaged more than Anna Nicole... I'd like to check out the insides of those CMBs... :) You've gotta have respect for anyone who can get those speeds out of a .21!

 Show me picture kind of hulls and kind of engines thanks Allan :)
Mark, Chris, and Don are indeed all running CMB's. Steve was running a one-of-a-kind engine and, unfortunately, blew it off on his backup pass hurting the engine pretty good. All four have scratch built boats. Apparently Mark's scratch built A Hydro is proving a bit of a challenge as it has less than 3oz of fuel. I suppose it's more about finding the needle, bringing it back it for a top off, and then making passess. I'm told he was running out of fuel before he could complete his backup pass.

I don't know if anybody out there is taking pictures.

Hum not surpised that the Grim family is AGAIN putting there mark on NAMBA records....CONGRADULATIONS!!!!!!!!

Someone please take pictures. Those speeds are incredible! Great job guys and thanks for the updates. It seems Legg lake is the place to be to set high speed records.

Brian

Here's the word from the lake...the battle is on between Steve O'Donnell and Mark Grim. Mark's record was set last November at 97.02 mph. Both had awesome one way passes yesterday that set the stage for today. Steve was able to get his equipment back into running shape and set a new record at 102.4 mph. Shortly after that Mark went out and bumped the record to 102.6 mph. Jimmy Johnson was on the phone giving me the updates and when we were wrapping up Mark was going out again. It sounded absolutely incredible on the phone and it was a two way average of 105.832 (2.126 seconds) with a one way pass of 108.277 (2.078). Incredible. Final updates later today.

Thanks Chris for the daily updates. The arm chair boaters appreciate it. Must still be great weather since they are able to set 3.5cc records. That huge sucking sound I hear must be the Northwest sucking in all the bad weather from the rest of the West Coast. Rudy
