Racers and Visitors,

We would like to take this time to invite you to Reserve, La to race with the VooDoo club. We have talked to the powers that be and changed the name of the Annual VooDoo Shootout to the VooDoo Gas World Championships November 18th-20th. This will be the biggest baddest race of the year and is only one of a couple races in the country where you get the chance to leave with a trophy that says World Champion. This race is already known for having the fastest racers in the country showing up to get it on with the best of the best. Now this is also the race that crowns World Champions and gives bragging rights to the fastest racers in the world for the following year. If you are looking for a race that has everything this is the one you have been looking for. People that attend this race every year say that they will never miss it. The competition is fierce and the fun never ends.

Here is just a small list of reasons to head south to beautiful Reserve, LA and enjoy some Southern Hospitality:

** Reserve is a beautiful small city with everything you could ever want or find in a big city. It has Great Southern style restaurants as well as all of the normal fast food facilities. There is a good choice of some very nice hotels no matter what your budget to stay at while attending the race. There are Plantation homes just a few minutes’ drive from the pond for those wanting to visit some of the many tourist attractions in the area. Check out http://www.NewOrleansPlantationCountry.com . The pond is just 35 minutes from New Orleans and the French Quarter (Casinos, World class restaurants, tourist attractions, French Market Etc.).

** Awesome Weather in November

** Awesome food cooked on site everyday by Fat Boys catering

** Racers appreciation party Saturday night with Rock and soul band and boiled seafood.

** Celebrity NHRA Racers up close and personal signing Autographs and doing interviews on MeTime. Some of the racers are NHRA Matco Top Fuel Driver Antron Brown and crew, DieHard Top Fuel Funny Car Crew Chief Tommy Delago, Marc Oswald Former Top Fuel Funny Car World Champion and current Matco Top Fuel Crew Chief and Former Pro Stock world champ Angelle Sampay and more. Take a walk through the pits and say hello and get you a autograph.

**Plenty of Parking and pit area.

**Large Driver stand with great view of the pond and course.

**Large Digital clock on the water.

**Plenty of nice hotels less than 10 minutes from the pond.

**Plenty of restaurants within minutes of the pond.

**Raffle Prizes each day along with door prizes to all of the racers who have entered.

**Opportunity to have your boat professionally photographed while racing by MeTime productions.

**Entire race and after hours party will be broadcast from MeTime Productions live on the internet for the entire world to see. As a added bonus Doug, Kerri and the entire MeTime gang will be there doing the live broadcast with on air action commentators Chris Herzog and Mike "Mudbug Hemric. With additional interviews from winning racers like Antron Brown for everyone to enjoy that could not make it to the race. You can check out MeTime here http://www.metimeliverc.com .

Open water will be Wednesday the 16th and Thursday the 17th from sun up til sun down. We will have our normal Jambalaya Feast on Friday Night after racing is over and on Saturday we will have a Seafood Boil followed by the Rock and Soul band. Fat Boys Catering will also be on location each day cooking New Orleans style food, seafood and normal concession items. This is the race that everyone talks about so don"t miss out and enter as early as you can.

Winning a few heats at your local pond does not count. If you think you have what it takes then stop posting videos and racing your keyboard and get to this race. This is your chance to come and prove that you are truly The World's Fastest!!!!!!!!! No matter what gas engine you run there is a class for you to race in so don't be scared come run with the big dogs.

Here is the race flyer and entry form:

Julian, I think "open rigger" on Sunday would be what your looking for. If they called it open hydro you would have sport hydros entering. Like the format finishing classes on separate days.
