I run one of Grim's Ninja's. Very fast and very good handling rigger. The strut is offset to the left looking at rear of boat. If you are building off of plans or finishing off a prebuilt you can't go wrong by going by what the instructions say. Good Luck Bill

I building off my old 67 Mongoose Outrigger. I have cut it down in side, and building as I go along. all of my other outriggers have been offset, but I have seen some new one that are not.
