Hey guys I'm putting together a mono for my brother and wanted to know where I should start with the pipe length. It's a .90 Picco engine and a muffled pipe (don't know the brand) Also prop suggestions would be wonderful. I mostly run gas so I don't have a clue where to start. The hull is a 48" long mono with a modified bottom. Never saw anything like it. Looks kinda like a cat from the bottom.

Hope to get it running right by this weekend and run it in the open cat class.

Thanks for the help!!!

I do not know about the prop...but I would start with a pipelength of about 13"...that is a length most .90s like.

Robert is right on. The shortest I ever ran a pico 90 pipe on a mono was 12 7/8ths

ABC 67x88 prop or even a x457 three blade octura always worked for me. If you turn over 22,000 rpm the engine will blow, so I would not go shorter on the pipe or smaller on the prop.

Thanks for the help guys. I will have to post a pict of it when done, it's not your regular mono hull.
