ENELOOP BATTERIES

HAS ANYONE PURCHASED THE NEW SANYO ENELOOP BATTERIES AND HAD ANY CONCERNS /PROBLEMS.? DO THEY CHARGE LIKE A NICAD AND NIMH BATTERIES? I UNDERSTAND THEY HOLD THERE CHARGE BETTER THEN ANY OTHER BATTERY EVEN UP TO 3 YEARS. THANKS FOR

Dan,

I run them in my radio, and some other devices outside of RC, they work as advertised, I charge them with a normal NiMH charger no problems so far, can be a little expense that all but no problems so far.

Eneloops are very good and outlast any other NiMh I have. Now with LiFe and LiPo's getting cheaper and more availiable I am switching over RX and TX to them. They outperform NiCad and NiMh easily.

Dunno about them being new, I've had them in my radio for about 3 years and they're still going great.

Eneloop batteries have been around for about 4 years now ,as stated above they work great and hold charge for a very long time. I use them in my tx/rx, digital camera, and xbox360 controllers. You can usuallu get a deal on them from the battery websites, www.batteriesamerica.com or www.onlybatterypacks.com .
