The SOWEGA Model Boaters will be hosting the first Grand Prix Race of the year at our pond in Sycamore, Georgia February 18,19.

There will be open water all day on Friday and Saturday until 11:30. Racing starts at noon.

This year we have added B and D Hydros.

We offer 23 classes of Nitro, Electric and Gas racing.

This year there will be five (5) Grand Prix Races with all points counting toward the Champions Jacket.

For Race information and registration go to www,rcracingevents.com.

Check out a list of the classes to be run on www.sowegamodelboaters.com.

We had a great Grand Prix Series last year.

The nitros and electric numbers were way up and everyone had a great time chasing the Champions Jackets.

So dust off your boats and head to Sycamore where the racing is Hot and become part of a great family of racers.

Looking forward to this! Should be a great warm up for the World Tunnel Champs!

"Corn/Cotton...whatever. It aint the city, thats what matters."

Now James, you know there's nothing like "da city of catur", you've got marta and everything you need! I'm definitely ready for a change of scenery myself even if its just a few days... I heard the clan was suffering from a sever case of withdraws and hit the water this past weekend for a quick hit lol... the Duncan clan will be there!

Thanks to the SOWEGA Club for a nice race. The wild weather did not stop anyone from having a good time. You guys that camped are some hard core campers! I think we will do that next time we go there. Thanks to the CD's and scorekeepers for being on that stand all weekend.

Great race from the SOWEGA gang. Ya'll always put on great races and can't wait for the next, good job to all the racers and we'll see you next time.
