How do you adjust the throttle arm on the carb? Just opened up my new motor and it's spotless inside.

Slide a piece of wood into the carb so the barrel can't roll over. Then loosen the nut holding the throttle arm in place. Rotate the arm to where you want it, then tighten up the nut.

Thank you. Thought that might be the way, but wasn't sure. Don't want to screw up a new motor.

Mine just came in the mail a few days ago. I work weekends so have not had a chance to check it out yet.

My motor is spotless inside. Hard to believe that a manuf. gives a darn about workmanship
