Roman was running an S-20 ABC prop
The S-20 is a fast prop. I used that prop at the 1994 IMPBA internats on my .21 Eagle. I won 2 lap oval and SAW with passes over 77 mph. That was my heat racing prop too. A VERY fast race boat for that era. Most were running 60 to 65 in those days.

The engine was a Picco .21 EXR.

Andy,

Are you sure it was not a S-15? The S-20 is a ton of propeller for any 21 motor?

You must have played with the diameter, cup, and pitch quite a bit?

Roman did win 7.5 Hydro with a S-20 and not 3.5 Hydro correct?

Was the S-20 an original design from your Tidewater days?

Thanks For Sharing The Information Andy,

Ha! My mind was slipping Mark! Yes S-15. It was actually the original pattern for the S-15 that I ran at the 1994 Internats. We made the mold for the S-15 with the prop after the Internats. The S-20 is also a very fast prop for the 45 riggers with speed potential of well over 90 mph.

The S-20 could be a good .21 SAW prop with a little trim of the blades.

Andy,

I ran both this past weekend. The S-15 ran real well on a JAE-21, but I have

a little more work to do on the S-20 modification.

Thanks For The Tip,

Mark Sholund
