    IMHO a 17turn Trinity Monster Max E-Max motor would work best here, it is also a 550-600 size motor.

    servo tape residue help taking it off

    After much experimentation, Ronsonol lighter fluid works Great!,,, and doesn't hurt the paint, or plastic, like Goof Off will,,, also good for removing gum on clothes, haven't tried other brands, but I assume they work as well. Also, Coleman fuel, a bit stronger, it will take off paint.

    Wow thats a huge prop!,,, from what I figure 65mm = 2.56",,, I saw metal Dumas props at Tower Hobbies, but the biggest I see are 2 inch,,, and you would hafta carefully drill out the hole for the shaft from 3/16" to 5mm. By the way, do you know what rotation you are gonna use?,,, from looking at...

    ok a few newbie questions.

    Ok, a submerged drive is faster outta the hole (acceleration), but the full surface area of the prop, skeg, & shaft causes drag at full throttle,,, a surface drive prop slips more under load from the start, but once planing, it is faster,,, both will handle about the same when planing,,, but...

    As I mentioned before on another forum, IMHO this new motor design has to be FULLY broken in & loose in order to get an accurate assessment of its power.
