Heres a Open Hydro heat in London ON this past weekend. A twin 90, Electric and some others.

I know It just seems silly and pointless to impound them at all.

I'd like to know, why Spektrum radio users have to be part of a Race Radio Impound?????

Hey Jeff, The dewalt 18Volt motor has been tested and didn't work out. The 700 brushed size motors are basically drill motors on steriods. These make good spec class motors but will not be competitive in an open motor(brushless) class. Pete

I'd like to thank the Hallam's for a great event also and all the people who made it happen. Being the only FE boat running was a little intimidating at first but I was welcomed by all the fuel racers. Definatly enjoyed the people and the venue!!!!!! Never seen so many Pop Up's :D Pete

No Go for the 1/8th scale :( Rules are specific as to the power plant used and it will be a points race. But I can run Open Mono. Should be at least 2 electric Mono's running :D

Hi David, I'm always setup for the larger ovals, anything under 1/8th is to small. I would definatly plan your setup so you can easily switch to Lipo cells. Thanks Tom Still no OK from Mike :(

Hey Dennis, Great hull!! I made a couple changes. I now get the 32 cells all upfront in the cockpit. The strut end is sealed and I got a kick ass hydro rudder that lets me put the boat where I want. A couple blow overs, so she's a little rough cosmetically. Dinner and Roses it is!!! :D

I'm really enjoying racing my 1/8th scale electric with or without nitro hulls. I know there's gonna be people who want to keep them seperate and maybe thats fine, but I think the performance is pretty equal with exsisting electric rules 32 cellsNimh or 10S lipo max. Rtr weight with 32 Nimh...
