    Castle decals

I have ML cowl, but will have to cut it up, reconfigure and make new mold to get it right. The cowl for 6677 is slightly different from 7505, but I could make it work. Thanks Troy had the right mold and it disappeared with other molds soon after his passing.

    Cowl needed

I'm looking for a cowl for the '79 Candyman or mold for it. RC Boat co. doesn't make it and I'd settle for a Chrysler Crew cowl as well. Thanks

    CMB 67 Goldhead question

The greenhead has a different bore/stroke ratio and better fuel trnsfer to the ports which makes faster out of the box and you can't get the same out of the yellowhead. Add to that the availability of parts and it's a no-brainer. The OS9b is bullet proof and easy to get the right set up like...

    CMB specs

I have a spec sheet for the 2005 CMB 67 greenhead which includes dimensions, timings, weight, etc. Are these engines any different from the greenies being sold now? Does anyone know where I can get a spec sheet on the 2008 models? Thanks, Randy

    Coupler CMB

Gene, You should have come to Marysville the weather and water were perfect. Anyway, I got a tune on the boat using the larger coupler, then I switched it out for the new (lighter) one. I had to lean out the low end needle a bit to get it to come out of a slow mill in a hurry, but it accelerated...

    Coupler CMB

Thanks Glenn, but I've got one in the mail.

    Coupler CMB

OK Gene, will do if the new one gets here in time. My thinking is drag racers shave off as much rotating weight as possible and their tech notes say rotating mass robs horsepower, so i guess we'll see. Will we see you at the Marysville RCU race this weekend? Hope so. Take care, Randy

    Coupler CMB

You bring up an interesting theory Gene and it sounds sensible. The reasoning behind what I want to try is that I can hear the smallest tone difference between my boat and the real fast ones and since mine weighs 17.5 ibs. I figured it was already loading the prop nicely and I thought I would...

    Coupler CMB

I have an engine to 1/4" square drive coupler from Marine Specialties and it's well made, but it's a monster. Where can I find a coupler that doesn't weigh a ton for a CMB .67 to 1/4'' drive?

Notch on the top of the cylendar sleve. What is it for?

I beleive you're talking about the set pin which correctly lines up the ports with the fuel channels in the casing. There should be a notch in the casing as well.
