Are there any onboard remote starters available, that are dependable, or is that "pie in the sky"?
Thinking it would be a nice addition to my 5 1/2ft hydroplane.

Just more weight on a boat that is already quite large. I would skip it. I would suggest a pully starting wheel and remote starter. But pull start will do the trick as well. I get tired of yanking on these things sometimes. Tennis elbow kicks in. I have pullies on most of my boats.
