May I ask why build a twin 45? Next has any ever beat the twin 90's and 101's heat racing? My thinking those big block twins leave a hole so deep the smaller twins wouldn't stand a chance chasing one down. Just thinking outloud sorry, but just curious to the questions asked.

I use to race in Evansville. I was with the music city bouy dodgers. I had mostly riggers including the twin Eagle it was yellow and blue.
No the engines are standing up in the normal position. Each engine had its own tank and a third channel fuel mixture.
Everything in the build was 100% legal per IMPBA specs. Andy Brown was over the rules back when this was built and he went over it measured everything and made the decision...
Yes it was in Indy and it had the Nova long strokes in it. Funny thing is Marty is the one who complained bitched you name it to make it illegal then he bought it from me when I was in Indy.
The fastest I had the boat in race trim was 71mph it was a rocket

It's too bad folks complained about some of us who were thinking outside the box when I built this boat.

It's sad to see that the classes aren't getting filled. I can remember when I raced there were always at minimum 2 heats for each class. With B, C hydros making up the biggest portion and then monos. E hydro never seemed to had been popular anywhere I raced. But to see "0" twins signed up that's...
