I tried the http://www.hobbysoulanges.com/index-en.html and couldn't find a way to shop.
Where should I be looking.
I am new at this type of conversation. Where should I go from here?
Ok I lost it. I didn't put it away the way I should have.
Does anyone know where I may be able to get another. It looks like the outside of the wrist pin is .235" .
Thanks
In a previous topic I was looking to correct a carb problem with a OPS80.
I burned up the motor and am now looking for a new CMB.
The following people were listed as possible sources for these motors:
allrc is a distributor in Washington State
Stu Barr is the national distributor
Jim...
This if good information. Where did you get the information to start? Would this be faster with a single engine? How may batteries of what size are required to make 6 laps?
43" bow to sturn with another 4.5" to the front of the prop.
This is a old fiberglass mono hull. Not sure who made it.
I would have taken a picture however I don't have a digital camera.
Believe it or not I just burned up my nitro motor. I believe it is time to look at electric. Who can I start talking to? I believe I have far too many questions to try to include them on a great forum like this.
Thanks
Pat

This looks just too cool. I have an old mono that I just destroyed the engine in so I decided to go electric.
I have so many questions I am not sure where to start.
Can you tell me who you talked to get everything put together and working?
Thanks so much.
Pat
I have Googled several different thing to find replacement parts for my OPS80.
I tried RC Nitro Marine engine parts, RC Nitro Marine engine as well as many more.
Who can point me in a direction for find some crank shaft bearings and a connecting rod?
Please help.
Thanks
Some time ago I was looking for information about the motor I purchased for my old mono. I believe someone stated something about the piston rod may give up. Well it did. I was trying to get some throttle control and I didn't get the cooling water running quick enough.
Took the poor thing...
I am still working on this OPS80. The silicone tube that came with the header moves arronud. I have held it somewhat in place with wire ties. This doesn't look as if it would hold for verry long.
Can I make or purchass something better?
Thanks
Pat.
Ok, it sounds like the OPS AE85002US is an ok motor if I glue in the carb and install a different piston rod. I know "BOAT" stands for "bring over another hundred" however I thought that was only for my 330SS.
Now that that is off my chest what motor should I have purchassed? This will be...
Ok, What an eye opener. Yet again I should have asked more questions before the purchass. It sounds to me like I will need to stick another hundred into this project? Would ime be better to start over with a new engine? What is the recomendation for a good engine this time?
Thanks
Pat.
