Todd, is it possible that I bought this engine from you over 30 years ago? I've had it in several hulls and ran it a bunch and learned about the shafts early on. This combo has been the most enjoyable toy boat over the years.

Wanted to upgrade his electric mono, but couldn't find the right one. So I looked around the shop and found this new 56 Apache and a QD 70, slipped it all together and we'll see how he does with it.

This will spoil you, consistant and easy on parts but fast enough to be interesting. Have a good time with it.

Ran those several years ago, they are everything everyone has said about them. Strong but fragile if you rev them too high. Still have a couple.

None have been tweeked that I can see

2 new x435, x432 used, x435 used, x632 used, 1427 used, 1630 used, x430 used. All the used props are sharpened and balanced, the 2 new in the bag x435's are raw. The strut is a stainless Octura, with a skeg with bushings a prop shaft with drive dog and a pointy nut. Rudder comes with transom...
