I ended up ordering a second cowl because I screwed up the clear coat pretty bad on the first one. It's completely my fault for trying to rush the paint job. This cowl came out pretty nice for rattle can paint and rattle can clear.

Been awhile so here's a little update. I ended up mounting the switch that comes on the Turnigy 120 at the back of my radio box lid with esc tape and drilling a 3/4 hole so I can use an Aeromarine radio box plug to access the switch. It makes it nice so I can plug the battery in and tape down...

All the wires and cables are sealed where they come through the box, I modified the original servo mount plate and added a small shelf to hold the receiver and keep it up off the floor of the radio box, esc is mounted on Velcro and then a plastic strap to make sure it doesn't move, water lines...

I added 2 hard maple blocks with hooks and epoxied those in the battery tray so I can use a heavy duty rubber band to hold down the battery with no need for Velcro. Should make changing out batteries very quick and easy. While I was laying down epoxy I also reinforced the factory radio box...

I added a layer of glass cloth to the inside bottom of the radio box and coated the inside and outside with West Systems. The plastic piece that comes with the kit that mounts to the outside of the radio box that you feed the cables through was cut down and modified so that Sullivan Gold-N-Rod...

Got some work done on the hull. Rear plate of the radio box is laid out with 3 pieces of 5/16 tubing epoxied in for the wires to the motor, 2 holes for water inlet and outlet, holes for steering cable and the entire box is glued up.
