Castle makes a monster X esc. I think the dimensions are 2”x2” you have to modify it and add a cooling block. You could probably put the controller all way to the back of the boat. My lynx esc lays on the battery

The only problem I don’t like is the motor wires are pretty long

I sent you one of your drives that I modified six years ago. I’m Been doing this modification to K&B & OS since the 90s. I don’t think I was the first person to do it.

I don’t like the idea batteries getting wet either so I change the boat up a little bit

The only reason I build this TFL Drive is because 3 guys in our club wanted to build G 30s and they wanted to use a cheap drive. If you had to pay someone to do the machine work and build the offset hinge pin bracket it would be cheaper to buy one of Fred’s. Plus you have to have custom flex...

If you put this drive on a G 30 just remember the hinge pin bracket is not offset. The mounting bracket ends up too high on the transit

The Transom plate on those TFL is not offset so it could create a problem mounting it on a transom.

And we did race 10 time last year

Don rewound my first motor back in January 2019. We have 12 races a year, and I enter 5 to 7 boats every race. I would burn up 2-3 motors a year. 90% of them were ProBoat 2000. Since using Don's motors, I haven't burned up a motor in over 2 years. Why would you pay between $70-80 for a new motor...
