We saw some incredible GAS monos at the Humtsville race. Fast and handled the water vary well.

Could a 101 work in such a boat?

What are some of the manufactures?

What are the pros and cons of each?

You will not run through the corners as hard as a SD44......

Motors are heavier, pack more power, Hulls are much larger...

IMHO...strait line speed would be up... But your get one and let us know how it works...

This is the 45" seaducer with a gas motor. Not a better running mono out there. None of the bigger gas monos would run with a seaducer with a nitro in it. This particular video the boat is running 69 mph. It now consistantly runs 76 to 77. So even if it was trimmed down for heat racing it would be very hard to beat.

My 44 inch seaducer works perfect with 101RS. Here's a link of my seaducer with big block power. This boat is a missile hard to beat as well compare to the gas hulls

Well lets see.......Rico off shore mono.........This was the first set up I built for the VAC 1.05..........

Luis ran this at the Winter Nats a few years ago when it was at Melbourne FL.

Lets gust say it would hang with any thing out there............Including Jerry's own 1.01 Seaducer.......

"Doc"...Get a Micro Burst 51" put Twin NR 91's in her. That would be a 'BAD AZZ" heat/offshore racing Mono. You would make some big holes for the other boats you are racing against. JMO

P.S. and a couple of Game Changer's

Doc here's my opinion,

Will a 101 work on a Gas hull. I think the answer is yes.

Go to JRCBD and you will find lots of Mono information, lots of builds, pictures and

videos that will help you see how they run. The pros and cons between hulls is for you to find out.

Happy boating.

Ya the one I gave you ........LOL

Doc call Richey 321 508 9703 he will set you up.

Blew his mind when he saw it run with a nitro eng in it. He stepped back from the pond as it came by the first time running in the white caps at Melbourne.

It handles the rough water killer..............
